GREY SUN
Listen on:
As someone who has become increasingly frustrated and confused with many modern viewpoints, I find myself feeling adrift in a world where it seems everyone thinks they’re right... all the time. As a result, and maybe to my own fault, I find myself begrudgingly resenting all of it and ultimately wanting nothing to do with the constant arguing, finger-pointing and what I see as petty displays of seeking a “solution”.
“Grey Sun” is my way of saying, “Could we all maybe just shut the fuck up, listen to one another and chill out? That would be great. Thanks.”
LYRICS:

Grey sun,
When the morning time comes,
It spills on everything we need,
Railways,
Bringing smoke to the airwaves,
The dirty soot on my face,
Bring rain,
We need,
Which side I take,
It sits in me,
My stomach churns,
And turns lime green,
We hold the world in our hands let’s keep it clean,
What do ya think?
Up sell,
Make the buy, if you can’t tell,
It really is just what,
You need,
Boosted,
To the top of a shit pile,
With a mop sayin’,
“Don’t think too hard… just clean!”,
Which side I take,
It sits in me,
My stomach churns,
And turns lime green,
We hold the world in our hands let’s keep it clean,
What do ya think?
Which side I take,
It sits in me,
My stomach churns,
And turns lime green,
We hold the world in our hands let’s keep it clean,
Just for now,
Which side I take,
They both don’t seem,
To know a way,
To keep things clean,
Without destroying everything,
It’s getting old…
