Project Bio
When Sandy and I originally started this project, our intention was to get together regularly to write, collaborate, and play music without any other motives. It was clear that we both were looking for something new, a different way to express ourselves creatively.
Our only requirement was to create something that excited us both. Something that was not only revitalizing to listen to but also exciting to perform and create in the moment.
As we explored our shared love for instrumental electronic music, programmed rhythms, acoustic-based compositions and the beautiful imperfections that happen during live creation, we landed on an exciting new concept that gave us life.
The Pennington Sessions give a glimpse of what’s to come from me and Sandy: a new approach to composition through experimentation, improvisation and live mixing.
